Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor’s latest movie, “Animal,” is creating waves at the box office. Even before its release, the film has already sold over 111,000 tickets across India, generating immense excitement among Bollywood fans. The trailer, showcasing extraordinary emotions of father-son dynamics, love, and intense behavior, has further fueled anticipation.
Set to release in multiple languages, including Hindi, on December 1st, the movie’s title, “Animal,” may not immediately convey its compelling storyline. The film, securing clearance from the Censor Board, has been assigned an A rating, making it suitable for adult audiences only. Advance ticket bookings have already commenced, with more than 90,000 Hindi tickets sold out of the initial 111,000.
While 2,000 tickets have been sold in the Telugu region, Tamil-speaking audiences are also showing interest. The movie’s success is anticipated to become a milestone in Ranbir Kapoor’s career. Notably, another film, “Sam Bahadur,” is slated for release on the same day.
Despite receiving acclaim for its trailer, “Sam Bahadur” has not performed as well in advance ticket sales, with 12,000 tickets sold so far. The movie focuses on the biography of India’s first Field Marshal. “Animal,” produced on a budget of Rs. 100 crores, features popular actress Rashmika Mandana opposite Ranbir Kapoor, along with stars like Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol. Certainly, “Animal” is set to make a significant impact on Bollywood screens very soon.
