The major camera-centric update is anticipated to arrive by late April or early May.
Samsung traditionally releases significant updates for its flagship phones a few months after their initial launch to tackle any deficiencies in camera processing. The Galaxy S23 received a substantial update in June 2023, which included enhancements such as a 2x zoom for portrait mode and improvements in overall camera processing. Considering that the Galaxy S24 series hit the market earlier than its predecessor, the camera-focused update is expected to arrive earlier as well.
Although the Galaxy S24 Ultra and its smaller counterparts boast impressive camera setups, their performance has been hindered by inconsistent image processing. This year, Samsung opted for a more natural color profile, moving away from the overly boosted colors.
