Lenovo is set to introduce new Motorola phones at an event in China on June 25. Among these, the Moto S50 Neo is generating buzz as it will come with a 4-year warranty, a first for any smartphone in the world. This 4-year warranty includes the usual 1-year warranty plus an extra 3 years of extended warranty for free.
This is longer than any warranty offered by other brands like Xiaomi, OnePlus, and Lenovo, which have previously offered up to 2 or 3 years during special promotions.
The details on how to get this extended warranty for the Moto S50 Neo haven’t been shared yet. This long warranty aims to make users feel secure, knowing that any problems with the phone will be taken care of for four years.
Reports suggest that this phone will be sold outside of China as the Moto G85 5G, but it might not have the 4-year warranty in other markets.
The Moto S50 Neo is expected to have a 6.6-inch OLED screen with curved edges, a high-definition display, and a fast refresh rate of 120Hz. It will likely include a new mid-range Snapdragon processor, a large 5000mAh battery, and will be quite thin at 7.59mm.
It will also have fast 33W charging, two rear cameras with 50 megapixels, a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies, and will run on Android 14. The phone will be available in black, green, and blue colors.
