Priyanka Chopra recently talked about feeling lonely and scared during her early days in Hollywood. She has always been open about her struggles in both her professional and personal life. Currently, she is focusing on her upcoming movie “Heads of State.” During an interview on Cavanaugh James’ podcast, she shared her feelings.
She admitted that facing rejection was a humbling experience for her. Priyanka said, “It humbles you. I didn’t let it upset me or see it as a closed door. Instead, I focused on finding another way. I worked hard without letting my pride get in the way. That is how I got to where I am today.”
She also mentioned feeling lonely and scared during her time in Hollywood. She said, “I didn’t know the industry or the people, and I did not have friends to call at 2 in the morning. It was a very lonely and scary time for me, especially in a big city like New York.”
For those who don’t know, Priyanka Chopra won the Miss World 2000 pageant. She started her acting career with a Tamil movie called “Thamizhan” and then moved on to Bollywood with “The Hero: Love Story of a Spy.” She gained fame with movies like “Andaaz,” “Aitraaz,” “Fashion,” “Mary Kom,” “Bajirao Mastani,” “The Sky is Pink,” and “The White Tiger.” She also had a small role in “The Matrix Resurrections.” Her last Hollywood movie was “Love Again,” and she will soon be seen in “Heads of State” alongside John Cena and Idris Elba.
