Realme recently launched the C53 smartphone in Malaysia in May. It boasted a powerful 50MP main camera. Now, the company has announced that it will be introducing a new version of the Realme C53 in India on July 19th. This new model will feature an impressive 108MP primary camera.
Realme is promoting the new C53 as the first and only smartphone in its category to offer a remarkable 108MP Ultra Clear Camera. The promotional image released by the company reveals that the phone will be available in a gold color variant in India.
The image also confirms that the 108MP model will include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Moreover, it is worth noting that the rear cameras and flash are not arranged in a squircle-shaped camera island like the 50MP model.
Realme’s Indian branch shared a teaser on Twitter confirming that the new C53 will feature a waterdrop notch display, similar to the 50MP version. However, it remains uncertain whether the rest of the specifications of the new C53 will remain the same as the 50MP model.
The Realme C53, equipped with a 50MP camera, showcases a user-friendly 6.74-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is powered by the Unisoc Tiger T612 chipset, supported by 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The device runs on the Realme UI T operating system, which is based on Android 13, right out of the box.

For capturing selfies and engaging in video calls, the Realme C53 sports an 8MP front-facing camera. Furthermore, the phone comes equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack, enabling users to easily connect their favorite wired headphones or earphones.
