    Ireland is an island and it is surrounded by the Irish Sea which is over 50 miles wide. This vast stretch of water makes it unlikely for land animals like snakes to reach Ireland by swimming. Even sea snakes, which live in warmer tropical waters, wouldn’t survive the frigid Atlantic crossing. St. Patrick rid Ireland of snakes in the fifth century by driving them into the sea. The truth is that Ireland never had snakes in the first place.

    While the United Kingdom (U.K.) is also an island and has snakes, neither Britain nor Ireland had snakes for a long time. During the Ice Age, the islands were too cold for reptiles to survive. Their cold-blooded bodies require warmth from the surroundings to function properly.

    When the glaciers retreated about 10,000 years ago, a land bridge between Europe and Britain, and another between Britain and Ireland, emerged, allowing animals to migrate. The land bridge to Ireland disappeared around 8,500 years ago, while Britain’s land bridge remained for another 2,000 years. This gave animals from Europe more time to colonize Britain, but there is no evidence of snakes in Ireland’s fossil record.

    Apart from Ireland, other islands like New Zealand, Hawaii, Greenland, Iceland, and Antarctica also lack native snakes. Despite the global pet trade, the absence of snakes on these islands is remarkable, considering snakes’ potential to become invasive species.

    In Guam, the invasive brown tree snake has caused significant damage to the island’s native bird and lizard populations. To combat this, authorities resorted to drastic measures, such as dropping dead mice laced with acetaminophen from helicopters to kill the snakes. While this method has been temporarily effective, it has not eradicated the snake population entirely. The U.S. Department of the Interior allocated millions of dollars to address the issue further.

    In Ireland while pet snakes are legal and became popular during the economic boom of the late 1990s, many people released their snakes into the wild during and after the 2008 recession. Despite some sightings in random places there has not been widespread establishment of snake populations in the wild. It’s crucial to prevent snakes from establishing themselves in Ireland.

    Professor Rajendra Gupta from the University of Ottawa suggests that dark matter might not exist by analyzing changes in forces over time and the behavior of light in the universe. Dark matter is considered as a mysterious substance and it is believed to make up a significant part of the cosmos. It has been a fundamental component of the traditional model of the universe alongside ‘normal matter’ and ‘dark energy.’

    Dark matter does interact with electromagnetic radiation and has never been directly observed. It is inferred from its gravitational effects on visible matter. Gupta’s study questions the necessity of dark matter in explaining these phenomena.

    A recent study proposes an alternative view and it is suggesting that our universe may not contain dark matter. This challenges our current understanding of the universe and the role of dark matter within it.

    Rajendra Gupta’s study utilizes a combination of the covarying coupling constants (CCC) and “tired light” (TL) theories to develop a model (CCC+TL) that explains cosmic phenomena without the need for dark matter.

    Accelerated expansion of the universe could be attributed to the weakening forces of nature as the universe expands, rather than dark energy as previously thought. Gupta’s model proposes an alternative explanation for observed cosmological phenomena.

    The study’s findings challenge the conventional understanding of dark matter and its role in the universe. Gupta’s research suggests that dark energy may not be required to explain the accelerated expansion of the universe. His study is the first to eliminate the cosmological existence of dark matter while remaining consistent with key cosmological observations.

    There are several papers questioning the existence of dark matter, but his study provides a unique perspective. The study titled “Testing CCC+TL Cosmology with Observed Baryon Acoustic Oscillation Features” was published in the Astrophysical Journal.

    According to the report, while there is no concrete evidence of aliens in the universe, the possibility cannot be completely dismissed. Many individuals worldwide consider UFOs to be alien spacecraft, but the report did not confirm their existence. However, UFOs are frequently featured in movies and video games.

    NASA’s study mentioned that although alien technology might function on Earth, we have not yet discovered it. NASA intends to take a more transparent approach to search for planets similar to Earth, where life could potentially exist.

    In the vast universe, there are some mysterious objects that do not appear to be naturally occurring, and humans are not responsible for creating them. These objects are often referred to as UFOs. In 2017, two unusual bodies were discovered in Peru, which were suggested to be neither ancient humans nor anything we know. A researcher in Mexico even proposed that these bodies might be aliens. Scientists have doubts about the characteristics of these 1800-year-old bodies.

    NASA had previously stated its intention to share all information about UFOs openly. However, in the interest of conducting more transparent research, NASA has not released extensive information to the public.

    To enhance UFO research, NASA is exploring the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies. Furthermore, NASA is considering ways to involve the general public more actively in such research.
