KTM recently unveiled the 2024 KTM 790 Adventure, a redesigned model created in Mattighofen, Austria. The company describes it as an ideal entry point for riders exploring the adventure segment. Recognized with the 2019 Motorcycle of the Year award, the KTM 790 Adventure has earned acclaim for its lightweight ADV touring capabilities, designed for diverse terrains.

Retaining the 799cc parallel-twin LC8c with DOHC, the 2024 KTM 790 Adventure introduces enhancements for greater stability and improved cornering poise. A 20% increase in rotating mass contributes to these improvements. Reworked Dell’Orto throttle bodies enhance combustion efficiency, and a knock control sensor ensures better ignition and compatibility with various fuel qualities.

Key features of the 790 Adventure include a 6-speed gearbox, throttle-by-wire, a PASC slip/assist clutch, a new airbox, and an optional reconfigured Quickshifter+. The latest 6-axis IMU, found in larger KTM models, powers features like Cornering Motorcycle Traction Control, ABS, Motor Slip Regulation, and standard ride modes (Street, Offroad, and Rain), with an additional Rally mode available. ABS modes now seamlessly switch between ride modes, simplifying configuration. The demo mode allows testing the full suite of electronic rider aids for the initial 1,500 km.

The Maglev train utilizes the Electron Dynamic Suspension System, incorporating superconductor materials. Superconductors are substances through which electricity flows without any resistance or loss. Thanks to these superconductors, a continuous flow of electricity generates a powerful magnetic field.

To achieve this, the superconductor is cooled down to minus 260 degrees Celsius using liquid helium. This technology allows a heavy train to float in the air. When the train comes to a stop, rubber wheels are employed. These wheels provide the necessary traction for the magnet under the train to function. Remarkably, once the train reaches a speed of 150 km per hour, it can glide in just 10 mm of air.

Despite its incredible speed, the Maglev train is considered a safe system, providing passengers with an efficient and smooth travel experience. In 2015, research demonstrated that Maglev trains could reach speeds of up to 603 km per hour.

These colossal vehicles, a blend of ships and airplanes, were intended for warfare and posed significant risks. Specifically crafted for combat against adversaries, it remains preserved to this day, capable of flying without the need for an airport.

Designed to counter Soviet and Russian foes and dismantle opposing navies, this vehicle could effortlessly glide over several meters of water. Despite its potential, it never underwent official military testing or operations.

During its era, the Soviet Union took great pride in this creation, as no other country possessed such a formidable and unique ship. This project was shrouded in secrecy within the Soviet Army, with Ali Gazi Abdul Galimov serving as its chief architect.

Galimov dedicated 14 years to constructing this ship, and although its instruments are now non-functional, it has been preserved to honor the Soviet Union’s historical traditions. Tesla’s New Model 3 Car: A 606-Kilometer Marvel Hits the Chinese Market

US electric car company Tesla has introduced a new electric car named Model 3 in China. This car can travel up to 606 kilometers on a single charge. Even though Tesla has reduced the prices of its high-end cars and full self-driving (FSD) software, the new Model 3 comes with a higher price tag.

This marks the first time Tesla has launched a new model in China, leaving the US market. This move is expected to intensify competition between Tesla and the Chinese car manufacturer BYD in the Chinese market.

However, while Tesla has introduced the new car in China, there’s no word yet on when the Model 3 will be available in the US market. Tesla is offering a $5,000 discount on each Model 3 sold in the Chinese market. This new car is being manufactured in China and also in Fremont, California.

According to China’s testing standards, the new Model 3 can travel up to 606 kilometers on a single charge, which is 9 percent more than Tesla’s other similar vehicles.

Tesla has stated that this new Model 3 is an improved version of their best-selling Model Y in 2020. It’s being manufactured at the Tesla plant in Shanghai, China, and will also be exported to other markets in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.

Tesla has already started taking orders for this car in China, and it will be available for sale in China in the fourth quarter of this year (October-December). Orders are also being accepted from markets in Germany, Europe, the Middle East, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.

China is Tesla’s second-largest market after the US. The company has reduced the prices of its premium Model S and Model X cars in China by approximately 14 to 21 percent. Currently, the new Model 3 is Tesla’s most expensive car after the Model Y.

According to The Verge, the price of the new Model 3 rear-wheel-drive model will be $42,990, while the Long Range version will cost $50,990. Tesla has made several changes to attract Chinese buyers, including adding a display in the back seat of the car, an improved acoustic system, and new headlights. The new car will be showcased at a trade fair in Beijing on Saturday.
