Google’s Circle to Search: What Samsung Users Need to Know

As of now, Circle to Search is only available on a limited range of Samsung devices, leaving many users eager to experience its benefits. Fortunately, there is hope for wider availability in the near future. If you’re eager to get Circle to Search on your Samsung device, the first step is to check for a software update. The latest One UI 6.1 software which includes Circle to Search is scheduled to roll out to compatible devices on March 28th. Keep an eye out for this update to enjoy the enhanced search functionality on your Galaxy smartphone or tablet.

Among the devices expected to receive the One UI 6.1 update are the Galaxy S23 series including the standard Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Users of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5, as well as those with the Galaxy Tab S9 series can look forward to accessing Circle to Search once the software update is available for their devices.

Exciting News for Google Pixel 8 Users: New Color and Awesome Features

In the world of Android phones, people are talking a lot about the Samsung Galaxy S24 and OnePlus 12. But wait, there’s some big news from Google. They just announced five cool updates for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. First up, there’s a brand-new color called Mint. This fresh color is now available for both the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, and it looks really nice. Mint is a calming shade that’s not too bright and not too dull. Many people think it might be one of the best colors for Pixel phones in a long time.

But the color isn’t the only good news! Google is rolling out its January 2024 Feature Drop, and it brings four main updates for Pixel 8 users.

If you have the DJI Mic 2, use the link button to start and stop recording. Handy for tripod-mounted shots. The microphone can be used as a standalone field recorder. Power it on, press record, and later sync the audio with your video. When connected to the Pocket 3, the microphone has an audio meter. The visual indicator helps monitor audio levels.

Use the record button to power the unit on and off. Quick press when off powers on, press and hold when on powers off. Enable “screen rotate and capture” for quick capture. Rotate the screen to power on and start recording; rotate to power off and stop recording.

Double-tap on the screen to start active tracking. Double-tap on the subject, like the DJI Mic, and press the joystick to stop tracking. In Pro Mode, swipe from the right and choose “Focus Mode.” Try the product showcase mode for a soft focus effect, perfect for cinematic shots.

Meta Quest 3: The First Mixed-Reality Headset for Everyday Users

Meta, formerly known as Facebook, recently held its annual ‘Connect Developers Conference,’ where Mark Zuckerberg unveiled a host of new software and hardware developments. The conference took place virtually on September and while many expected Zuckerberg to wrap up the discussion on the metaverse, the focus remained on making the metaverse more accessible and user-friendly.

Rather than being purely virtual, Meta plans to create a mixed reality AR platform. As part of this vision, Meta introduced two new hardware devices in collaboration with Ray-Ban: the ‘Meta Quest 3’ and ‘Meta Smart Glasses.

In addition to the hardware announcements, Meta introduced its new chatbot system powered by Llama2 technology. According to Zuckerberg, these virtual 3D avatar-based chatbots, entirely created through AI, will serve as future customer support representatives, receptionists, and spokespersons on company websites.

Ray-Ban’s focus with the Meta Smart Glasses is to provide a heads-up display experience rather than a fully immersive virtual world. These glasses can be worn just like regular eyeglasses and come equipped with a built-in camera for taking pictures and livestreaming. The glasses also feature speakers and microphones for listening to music and using the Meta virtual assistant.
