September 12, 20232 Mins Read

Electric cars are making their way into the automotive industry, and Tata has recently launched its own electric vehicle. There are now expectations that the Tata Nano, once known as the world’s cheapest car, may make a comeback with an electric version in the market very soon.

Tata Nano

Following the Tata Nano, several companies have introduced various vehicles in the budget segment. It is believed that Tata may unveil the Tata Nano Electric in the second quarter of 2023, with a potential preview of the pre-production model at the 2023 Auto Expo.

Tata has already introduced several electric vehicles in the Indian market, and many are speculating that Tata is gearing up to launch a revamped Nano with new features. This project has been in the works for years, and it’s expected to become available to customers in 2023.

The Tata Nano Electric is rumored to come equipped with a range of features, including a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, Bluetooth and Internet connectivity, a 6-speaker sound system, power steering, power windows, and an anti-lock braking system with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD). However, it’s important to note that there hasn’t been any official launch announcement for the Nano as of now.

There have been reports suggesting that Tata Motors has commenced production of the Tata Nano Electric, and while the company hasn’t officially confirmed this information to the media, there is significant anticipation surrounding its potential release. Reports indicate that this car may hit the market with a starting price ranging from Rs 3 to 5 lakh. As we await more information, it’s clear that Tata is working on bringing back the Nano in an exciting new electric avatar.
