Xiaomi is getting ready to release a new top-of-the-line phone called the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Before they officially announce it, some important details about its camera have been revealed by a tipster. Here’s what we know so far.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra will have a special camera setup. According to @ZionsAnvin, who shared the information, the phone will have a circular camera module. Inside this module, there will be a VARIO-SUMMILUX 1:1.63-2.5/12-120 aspherical lens (ASPH). The main camera will use a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-900 sensor with a variable aperture range of f/1.63 to f/2.5.
Additionally, the phone will include a 120mm periscope telephoto lens. An image shared in the tweet shows a big camera island where these four sensors and the LED flash module will be placed. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to be announced sometime in the middle of this year. Recently, it was revealed that the smartphone’s wireless Camera Kit has also been certified in 3C certification.
There are hints that the new flagship phone will support Satellite Connectivity. It has also been seen in certification platforms like BIS, EEC, and others. This is all the information available for now, but we’ll keep you updated as more details come out.
