Most beach towns swell with crowds in July. But a few stay quiet year-round. St. George Island in Florida is one of them. It has no condos or chain hotels. Just dunes, sea oats, and miles of empty sand. The same goes for Bald Head Island in North Carolina. You get there by ferry. No cars are allowed. Golf carts are the only way around. Little St. Simons Island in Georgia is even more remote. You need a boat to reach it. Only a handful of guests stay at a time. These three towns offer true peace away from the masses.
