Before, there were no specific categories for people to apply under the Premium Residency. But now, the Saudi government has created five new categories to make the application process more straightforward.

Holders of the Premium Residency can live in Saudi Arabia for an extended period, either for one year (which can be renewed) or for an unlimited duration, depending on the plan they choose when applying.

The unlimited plan costs $213,320 (800,000 SAR), and the one-year plan is $26,665 (100,000 SAR), which must be paid upfront. For those applying under the new categories, the Premium Residency costs $1,066 (SAR 4,000).

The Premium Residency, similar to a Green Card, was introduced in 2019 to attract wealthy foreigners and investors to Saudi Arabia, aiming to boost the country’s economy.

Holders of the Premium Residency can also bring their immediate family members to live in Saudi Arabia without paying the dependent fee. These family members can live, work, and invest in the country and can easily change jobs while residing there.

Under this special scheme, individuals can own property, such as homes and businesses, anywhere in Saudi Arabia except in Mecca, Madina, and the border regions. Premium Residency also allows individuals to own and license vehicles and other modes of transportation in the country.

Moreover, Premium Residency holders can freely enter and exit Saudi Arabia as often as they want. They also have the right to invest in the Saudi Capital Market. Samsung Z Fold 6: What to Expect in 2024?

The Z Fold 5 came out in August, and now there are talks about the next one. Let’s see what we already know about the Z Fold 6. Normally, Z Fold phones come out in late summer. Samsung usually tells us about them in July, and they become available in August. We think this will happen again.

The Galaxy Z Fold 5 starts at $1,800 if you want 256GB of memory. If Samsung keeps that choice, we guess the Z Fold 6 will start at the same price (and the Fold 5 might cost less). If you want more storage, you might have to pay more money.

The price could be higher if there are new features, but we believe $1,800 is the least it could be. When the Z Fold 6 is officially out, Samsung will tell us when we can start pre-ordering it. Come back here for more details when that happens.

Right now, we only have rumors. The Z Fold 5 wasn’t very different from the one before, but people say Samsung might make some changes with the 6. The biggest change might be with how it looks, including the size of the screen. Someone who often shares early info, called Revegnus on X (used to be Twitter), says the screen will be bigger, but the phone will be lighter.

Another small but nice change might happen with the Fold 6: it might resist dust. T.M.
